The Kent Animal Shelter always needs pet food, clean bedding, toys, cat litter, and treats. You can take up a collection in your community, school, group, or office. Call Linda MacDonald at 631-727-5731 ext. 1.

Volunteers are an important part of Kent Animal Shelter, they make the shelter a special place and what enables the organization to save more animals, helping to care and provide for the animals and the facility.
We offer orientation, training and guidelines to volunteers to ensure their success. In addition, we try to place volunteers where their talents and interests lie.
Honor or memorialize your friend, family member or pet permanently in the ‘Walk of Life” located just outside the adoption center. Every brick or paw print makes a difference in the lives of homeless animals.

The Tree of Life is a commemorative tablet display on our Founders Wall. If you would like your name, the name of a pet or an honorary memorial leaf inscribed on the tree please contact us at (631) 727-5731 or send us a message. A minimum contribution of $100 is suggested.
